Jeff's big chance came vs Bama when John went down. Any TF would have been scared in that situation. JB started the next game because JD ws injured at the end of the Bama game and Weis hardly gave him a second look. Brissett got the majority of the sideline help till John could take the field again.

agreed. very tough situation for him to come and have his cherry popped. coming in as a TF against a huge and confusing defense that was already revved up and had taken one QB out the game, I dont think any TF QB could handle a situation like that. also, JD came in with really high expectations for himself and from the fans. After that game his confidence was probably shot. Then, as you said, Cholly didnt really give him much of a second look. Gotta hope he can rebound from a tough situation like that. It might take some time. Maybe give Jarrett Lee a call and ask him

IMO, as much as people would be against it, I think Driskel and Brissett could be used in a 2 QB set all year....and have it work. It won't be like the days of Leak/Tebow when you knew who was going to run and who was going to throw. Gives an opportunity for some trickery as well. Coach Muschamp HAS said that they could end up on the field at the same time in a game.
