not so fast my gator friend.

Brissett looked better last year... not saying a whole lot, I know. Brissett just seems to know what he's doing where JD looks scared, doesn't want the ball, run after his 1st read breaks down. Maybe Pease can help with that. I do think JD has better measurables and probably more potential. Brissett just seems to be ahead of the curve between the two... for now.

Jeff's big chance came vs Bama when John went down. Any TF would have been scared in that situation. JB started the next game because JD ws injured at the end of the Bama game and Weis hardly gave him a second look. Brissett got the majority of the sideline help till John could take the field again.

agreed. very tough situation for him to come and have his cherry popped. coming in as a TF against a huge and confusing defense that was already revved up and had taken one QB out the game, I dont think any TF QB could handle a situation like that. also, JD came in with really high expectations for himself and from the fans. After that game his confidence was probably shot. Then, as you said, Cholly didnt really give him much of a second look. Gotta hope he can rebound from a tough situation like that. It might take some time. Maybe give Jarrett Lee a call and ask him
