For the people picking random teams not named Bama (or maybe USCe) to beat LSU, did I miss the part where these picks are for 2013 game upsets?

Oh so we are not allowed to pick upsets over LSU....I see. You can pick Michigan over Bama because its early in the season, but others are not allowed to pick UW over LSU. Wouldn't want to offend anyone.

I just don't think they're sensible picks if you're picking only 3 upsets SEC-wide. If we lost 3-4 o-linemen and 3-4 d-linemen, it'd make more sense. But we all watch SEC football and know the game is won in the trenches.

ETA: I'm not offended. I think 2013 would be a better case when we have a new C & RT, as well as probably replacing 2 DEs. The only o-linemen starter we lost will be replaced with a guy who got a 6th year and started before.

Michigan went to a BCS Bowl last year and plays on a big stage vs. Ohio St. every year.

I don't think UW's been on that big of a stage for a while. Plus UW is after 1 tune up game; UM/UA is the opening game of the season. The most snafus/game management issues typically arise in the first game of the season and many get corrected for the 2nd week.

And I wouldn't pick UM over UA.
my 3 upsets would be:
A&M over MSU
Mizzou over UGA
Vandy over UT

ETA: I almost made my third upset UGA over bowl opponent
