Stopping the football program for this is like taking away a bank robbers drivers license.

No it would serve as a reminder to any other program that would ever think of pulling this horrifying shite from ever thinking of doing this. The fact of the matter is Joe Paterno was a horrible man who let a game, that hardly anyone over 18 plays, be more important than the innocent lives of dozens of boys. This incident took college football back 20 years, and should take Penn State back to the Stone Age. The foundation of that institute has been completely soiled and they will never be able to wash it away.

If people hadn't let Ole Miss forget the Meredith Incident after 50 years, do you really think that Penn State will be able to cleanse its name of this? An institute where rape, pedophilia, and destroying lives is written in the very fabric of its greatest moments? It's inexcusable for what happened here and dozens should be locked up with Sandusky for allowing this to continue.
