no Heismans but we have many more awards (Belitnikoff, Nagurski, Thorpe) than probably any other school in the SEC in that time line if we want to start throwing all sorts of shite in...

Really I look at who had true championship teams. LSU split one title and we are all familiar with what 07 came with. Bama and Florida put teams together that were clearly championship caliber teams. Auburn was a 1 hit wonder but clearly put a better team in the field than anyin the history of LSU. Bama and Florida teams would play for titles every season the 07 and 03 LSU teams would challenge for 3rd in the west every year.
