no Heismans but we have many more awards (Belitnikoff, Nagurski, Thorpe) than probably any other school in the SEC in that time line if we want to start throwing all sorts of shite in...

My motivations doesn't weaken the argument that an extremely subjective award for "best player" which rarely if ever actually goes to the best player has no place in a discussion about who the best program has been over a certain period of time.

All you're saying is that LSU hasn't had the sexy QB or RB that made a memorable play or two against the right opponent. Oh darn.
