Apology to LSU for campus trolling incidents, plea to Bama fans to show class

Meh, whatever. I don't mind shite like this. It's what makes things extra fun in the fall. However, I'm pretty tempted to have my wife and daughters sit this one out on 11/3. I have a feeling it's going to be a pretty rough day in BR for all involved.

You would be wise to do so. It's definitely not going to be a weekend for the faint of heart.

Total nonsense. Everyone said the same thing before Saban's 'return' to Death Valley in 2008. It was a typical SEC game day with fans of both schools tailgating, eating, drinking and partying together at many canopies, tents, and spots across campus.
If you have 125,000 people gathered at any sporting event, you will have some goofball idiot show-offs that think they're being cool. If you can't ignore them, just laugh at them.
Don't put these morons on a pedestal. Instead, focus on the majority of fans who are either friendly, welcoming, indifferent or otherwise oblivious or non-confrontational.

This. Most people will be treated with the same respect they give. The exception being youth and drunks sometimes. Usually the people that have problems, seem to have problems all the time. Usually, they're the ones that are the asses. I wouldn't think any Bama or Lsu fan would have any trouble out of the other as long as they're not acting a horse's arse.

I was actually down in Louisiana on business the week of the 2008 game. I was surprised at the reaction of most LSU fans that had NOTHING but nice things to say about Nick Saban. They weren't too fond of Bama, but they seemed to love Nick Saban to death. Is this still the norm around tiger town?
