I would be shocked if the athletic department (if you had one) would have access to that endowment.
Endowments are usually for bragging rights and for the academic side of things.
Maybe it's different at UF since we can support Football with football money. I really don't know how Vandy pays for football.

Where is Franklin going next year? Penn State? Why would he go there? Wouldn't he be concerned that Penn State could legitimately receive the death penalty for covering up Sandusky's crimes for years? How could he believe he could recruit kids to such a school with such a scandal hovering over it like a storm cloud?
