Big 10 would prefer: 1) Status quo; 2) Plus one; 3) 4-team playoff....Want to preserve the "status" of the Rose Bowl....Wants to use selection committee to choose if there is a playoff....

I say screw 'em....Keep the status quo and let the SEC continue its run of championships...

the Status quo in my opinion is 100 times better than a plus one anyways. I have never seen where picking just 2 teams is better in January than it is in December. Same problems, same issues. maybe even more people to bitch about being hosed

The big 10 and Pac 10 will force a compromise to conference champs only or the conference champs in the top 6 option Delany threw out there earlier. The SEC and big 12 don't want the current system anymore. Then all the conference go to 16 teams so there are only 4 conference champs

The run will continue, of not become more likely to last with a playoff. There's really nothing they can do about it.

These people are going to frick UP college football. What a greed fiesta.

I hope the SEC teams just keep whipping that arse of all the other conferences. Not a darn thing they can do about it.
