It's laughable how some of you think Don Shula's statement was based solely on the fact that his son was fired from UA. I'm sure that was a factor, but do you really think that is the sole basis for his opinion of Saban? You don't think the way Saban left the Dolphins influenced his opinion even a little bit? Please.

I think his anal unease can be attributed to the fact that the coach of the team he used to coach left said team to take over at the place that just fired his son...

Not exactly a impartial observer..

Don is just pissed that he hung onto the Dolphin gig about two decades too long, thus tarnishing his own legacy.
