B/CS is 233K now. They are building this 'urban core' development starting in late May. It will attach to Northgate. Going to have 2 18 story high rises for apartments and town homes attaching on the bottom, then they are going to have a boardwalk lined with bars and restaurants along a lazy river from South College to Texas Avenue.
Mix use of retail, grocery stores on the commercial end and bars on the Northgate end. I know Trader Joes, HEB and Whole Foods have spots already and Northgate developers are lining up the bar end to flow with original Northgate.

I remember reading about it from TexAgs ( 
for the most part but the links to KBTX are good). Apparently some large eyesore of a hotel is coming down as part of another development.
I've never visited B/CS but someday I plan to do so.
