Any of these guys going to be in that akward position of sitting in the green room all night without hearing their name called?

•Mark Barron, Alabama
•Michael Brockers, LSU
•Morris Claiborne, LSU
•Fletcher Cox, Mississippi State
•Stephon Gilmore, South Carolina
•Cordy Glenn, Georgia
•Dont'a Hightower, Alabama
•Melvin Ingram, South Carolina
•Dre Kirkpatrick, Alabama
•Rueben Randle, LSU
•Trent Richardson, Alabama
•Courtney Upshaw, Alabama

There are 26 total players invited. It seems very likely that one or more will slip through the first round.

Don't follow NFL and pretty much could care less. I do remember Colt McCoy sitting ther and felt bad for the kid.

Randle and Upshaw are both possibilities. The rest will all be first rounders no doubt.

I think the draft last year showed that the NFL just doesn't value running backs as much. I have the utmost respect for Randle, but I just don't see a whole lot of interest for receivers this year

Colt was at his house. ESPN had Jenn Brown there.

My thread was whacked but... Are bama fans worried about losing all that talent?

We still have talent everywhere. All of those recruiting classes are paying off.

Besides, people were saying the same thing last year when we lost Dareus, Ingram, and Julio.

Randle will be the one waiting for a while. He probably wont get drafted tonight unless there is a run on wideouts.

Your question of why Bama fans are excited about players going in the first round was kind of stupid. College players are guaranteed to leave so when they leave we hope they go in the first round. Pretty simple.

As for whether it is worrisome to lose all of that talent and why Bama fans would be talking about repeat, well I would point to losing 4 first rounders last year = BCS Championship. Sure, it is a worry to lose that kind of talent but there is some justifiable expectation that there are players remaining on the roster that will be able to fill those shoes.

I'm not exactly talking about the score of the game bruh. Freakish talent is freakish talent and it's easy to see no matter what the venue.

It's all about the QB and defending the QB. Claiborne will go first of SEC players.

Depends on if the Vikings trade out of the 3rd pick or not. If they do then yeah Trent goes 1st but if they don't I see Mo going.
