Wouldn't be of much help, not sure if human can reach terminal velocity that fast but the old saying the it's not the the fall but the sudden stop applies here. Aortic dissection and severing of the brainstem would be minimal from this distance. He would never breath on his own again if he survived and would never regain consciousness

Depends on how you land. Instinctively people will cradle their heads. If the impact to the head is minimized, you can totally f$%k up your body and survive. Look at Evil Kenevil. On the otherhand, a slip and fall can result in death when the head snaps back and impacts the ground.
