I'm not trying to throw a flame here and I'll preface this by saying I've never been on HV. But by the way y'all speak of it, they seem to have a very high self regard of themselves, the university, and the department without a justified cause reason.

I liked it when Richard Davenport would post recruit interviews before he worked for the paper.
You could actually say a little bit without getting banned at one point.
Also, I had never heard of TD so I didn't have anything to compare it to.

I always find it humorous that our best recruiting guy got his start as a regular message board poster who was fed up with rivals and scout and just decided to do it on his own.

I'll admit, since this whole Petrino scandal, I have lurked on Hogville to see what people think and say. I can't lurk on the Alabama equivalents, because I find it to be entirely too awful and my tolerance is zero, but the distance of another fan base makes me laugh.
Sometimes I hope I'll see one of y'all that I like over here post as the voice of reason and drive everyone into an instant meltdown, like the 2 or 3 over there that neurotically keep trying, but then I realize that anyone with a normal perspective has likely been banned.

Most of us post under different screenames over there. Some of the mods actually lurk over here and will ban people for talking shite. They are not big fans of the SECr.
