Well, in the summers you need to get away from columbia on the weekends and hit up lake of the ozarks, table rock lake, or tube on the current river at van buren...not the jacks fork. The jacks fork is indeed beautiful, but if you want an awesome party on the river experience, you need to head south to van buren. 500 tubers on one stretch of the river.

Just like northwest Arkansas, Missouri is extremely fun if you are an outdoor person. Spending you weekends in Columbia in the summer would be a mistake. Discover Missouri...
