Kirby Smart is much higher on the list than Petrino will ever come close to being. Petrino would be very very far down the list if Dooley is fired.

If I were Tennessee I'd grab him in a NY minute. Tennessee can recruit with the best of them when they have their shite together.

He has to be much higher than Kirby. Saban is a great coach but damn, every assistant coach of his can't be the next great head coach.

he is on admin leave but still talks to all his coaching staff everyday via voice and text calls. He is still in charge until all this can be cleaned up. I think he is Arkansas football right now, he will be our coach on a full time basis soon.

Petrino can't recruit. It doesn't matter if he came here, he still wouldn't bring in top players. Vandy had a higher ranked recruiting class than a top 5 arky team. It doesn't matter where Petrino goes, he just can't recruit. Petrino will never win a championship.

He isn't. If Dooley is canned, UT is going straight after Kirby Smart. All the insiders have pretty much guaranteed that.

Arkansas will work out an exit package with a non compete stipulation that would prohibit Petrino from taking an SEC for the next couple of years, this is very commonplace in the buisness world when a high achiever is terminated.

in before houston nutt, he was not a 'high achiever'
