You are skipping over the fact that many of those millions will stop coming in if they keep him around. Not everyone is as quick as you to brush this off.

I completely disagree. Most of that revenue increase is from within the state, and as you can probably tell, the state as a whole would still support him if he was coach.

The only long-term (long term being a couple of years) impact that I could see would be in recruiting. But then again, we were never particularly good at that to begin with and honestly if I was a football player I would go somewhere that would best hone my skills for the next level. I wouldn't really give a damn who my coach was fricking as long as he could coach.
