Individual suits are bound to have precedent where a state employee was terminated for this kind of behavior. That is the pandora's box you don't think will be opened

No one is being terminated here.

I know, you are stating that anyone let go for this particular situation can have a claim. So what? The state rarely fires people anyway. They can punish those who lie to their supervisors (which is the only issue here since BP didn't hire the girl to work for him, nor has she ever worked for him) by suspending them and cutting a large portion of their pay.

I think a lot of people don't have the correct facts in this particular instance.
