No disrespect intended...
But the Gators were one of those teams you hated.......Because they were just so damn good.
Was it Tebow leaving? Urban's "health scare"? Lack of recruiting?

Not enough of the type of players you need for Meyers system once Tebow left. Then of course Meyer lost interest and took the 2010 season off.

I find it funny how people try to take away credit from a team by saying it was all Tebow,Cam,etc. Great players make great teams, but they couldn't do it without good players around them.
Cam & Tebow would have been destroyed, if they played for AU & UF this year.

I don't think it was just Tebow at UF, but to run Meyers system you had to have a certain type of QB. Once Tebow left you had Brantley who was more of a pro set and you had an O Line and RB's there were more suited for spread. The combination of the two is what happened..

Yeah, but Tebow doesn't run rough shot without all the other talent around him like he had at UF. One player doesn't win championships.

Anyway, we haven't fallen that far. We only got trounced last year by the two teams that played in the national championship.
The rest, with even an average offense (which we did not have) we could have won (I know WB, not the UG game, yadda).
We haven't lost to UK or Vandy yet....

Yes but all the players around have to fit the system. If you get the wrong players to run a certain type of offense it will not work. In 2006 they did not really run a spread. They did not have the players for that. The problem now is they have all these talented players but they were trying to run a system they did not all fit.
