I'm fully aware that no other SEC fans care about this, but I found this interesting:

Just announced: Aggies will play in 2012 CBE Classic in Kansas City's Sprint Center (Nov 19&20) w/Wash State, Saint Louis & Kansas.
I'm surprised Kansas is willing/allowed to participate in a basketball tournament with A&M in November 2012. Maybe Mizzou will be placed in one with Texas.

Well, A&M and Mizzou have both taken the public stance of "We'd love to continue playing Big 12 teams in the non-conference schedule"....so this is our first example of that happening.

For the same reason Mizzou doesn't play missouri state and arky doesn't play arky state. Risk embarrassment with nothing to gain.

Because SLU is a pretty bad prgram that has good season here and there.
Mizzou would play them if they want to come to Columbia. SLU thinkis they are a big fish and will only play home and home series.
The talks die there. SLU is a mid major whom rattles their sabres at Mizzou once every 15 years when they think they have a shot at the NCAA tourney.

Bingo.
Mizzou has nothing to gain by playing them. A win is expected, a loss would be shocking and giving them the exposure to in-state recruits, etc. would be a poor decision on our part.
