Kevin Murray was such a badass. I mean the guy was 2 Time SWC Offensive player of the Year AFTER he broke his ankle and lost his elite running ability. He just exuded confidence and executed that offense like a beast.
Just for fun this is a great video of the highlights of the '86 Cotton Bowl. Bo in his last game after the Heisman. Murray as MVP. Rod Harris, Devante's Dad playing (#17), Domingo Bryant. The epic goal line stand with Bo. Love it.

Here is some FRESHMAN highlight film on Kyler. The touch and accuracy he has is amazing for a kid that age. Great pocket patience as well but can definitely run with it.

Looks like Kendrick Huggins decommitted and is going to OU. More likely he is going JUCO though.

That tells me he wouldn't have made it in. Better to find out now than to have a Corey Nelson pulled on us.

YESSIR! 4 Star JUCO OLB Tommy Sanders has committed to Texas A&M.
Coach Sumlin had me worried for awhile. We hadn't had a new committment in four or five days.

With just hours remaining before mid-year junior college transfers can sign a letter of intent, Texas A&M has landed a commitment from one of it's final remaining juco targets.
Butler (Kan.) Community College outside linebacker Tommy Sanders, the No. 33 player in the ESPN Junior College 100 and the top-rated linebacker, has given the Aggies his pledge, according to Butler assistant coach Keith Browning.
"Tommy will sign with Texas A&M per text message from him to me," Browning said.
Sanders, a 6-foot-2, 215-pound prospect, had offers from Baylor, Central Florida, Florida State, Kansas State, Mississippi State, Ohio State, South Carolina and South Florida in addition to the Aggies. He is the 34th commitment in the Aggies' 2013 class and the sixth linebacker.
In his 2012 season with Butler, Sanders recorded 70 tackles and led the team in both sacks (eight) and tackles for loss (20). He also picked off a pass and broke up 12 passes in his 12 games of action for the Grizzlies, who made it all the way to the Graphic Edge Bowl, the NJCAA's national title game.
Sanders will have two years of eligibility when he arrives at Texas A&M. He can sign a letter of intent with the Aggies on Wednesday. He is the ninth commitment in the Aggies' 2013 class who will enroll for the spring semester and the fourth junior-college commitment in the class.

I think he just SIGNED. IIRC, he's an early entrant as well.

Glad we got Sanders sinced we missed out on Smith. That brings our mid-term enrollees to 9.
We are at 34 now. 9 count back to 2012 making our total 25 for 2013. We have 2 guys who wont make it in due to grades and 1 looking at the MLB draft. If all three don't come then we still have room for 3 more commits. If Kohl decides to play football then we have room for 2 more commits.
The 2 guys who wont make it in due to grades are WR Derrick Griffin and DB Victor Davis.
Other remaining targets seem to be:
LB Isaac Savaiinaea
DB Mackensie Alexander
WR Sebastian Larue
WR Stacy Coley
This is pretty much what I've gathered. Could be missing something..

I just got back from seeing my wife's family in Big Spring btw and apparently Young Tannehill is farther along than big bro was at the same age. He started as a Sophomore QB and did quite well, esp considering the league he is in.

Who would be the preference between him and Kyler Murray?

No way to really know. You are talking about 2 kids that are 15/16 years old playing in very different environments. Murray has a lot more talent around him as well. Both of them have a lot of physical and other types of growth ahead.

Apparently, we just flipped Jordan Mastrogiovanni from Oklahoma. How do we have room for him?

According to Texags Quincy decommitted today.

Best of luck to him. Unfortunately, we're in a position in which we have limited openings.
