Why do teams in LA, AL, FL, GA, TX have an easier time recruiting?

Cowherd always say it's the warmer weather, who knows. I mean I don't blame recruits, I'd rather play and go to school where the Temp hardly dips below 50 during the day than live in Michigan, Ohio, Penn, Minn, etc where it's cold 6-7 months out of the year.

Much better high school football in those states. Higher population than most of the neighboring states.

And yes, tradition does matter, whether you like it or not.

Their head coaches aren't pompous a-holes that think that all players will automatically want to come and play in their fancy, pass happy, no defense playing program.

You really don't think tradition matters in CFB in regards to recruiting?
