Agree. Hell, right now, bama is generally considered the strongest program in the SEC and only has 1 SEC championship in the last 12 years. LSU, AU, FL, and UGA all have more in that period.

Also, the last time an SEC champion repeated the next year was 1997-1998 with UT.

So in 15 years only 1 SEC has won two championships in a row. Before that, UF won 4 in a row and AU won 3 in a row.

Bama's last back to back was under Bryant and UGA's was under Dooley with Hershel Walker.

LSU's last time was 1935-1936.
