He's not a reporter. He's an Ole Miss fan who runs a (shitty) Ole Miss site. What he's doing isn't all that unusual or terrible.

This...anyone who considers someone like Yancy, Chuck, Rosebowl, or Gene to be journalists are flat out idiots.
You're judging him by journalist standards....guess what. None of them are journalists.
