With 2 other options. Either we kill the SECCG or the loser can not be one of the 4 teams. In 08' and 09' the SECWest champ or the SECEast champ has to beat the other twice in a row to advance. So you know 2 games in a row with the same opponent. That will SUCK big time.

The problem with a playoff with Conference winners, would be a situation like this year, when it's clear the 2 best teams are from the same conference. For all the BCS hate, it's gotten it right nearly every single time and compared to what it used to be, I'm happy about that.

For this reason we will probably have to do away with the championship game. In the past that game has helped propel the winner into the nation championship but with a play off we won't need it.
