next time he will learn not to say shite to drunk people. he isn't innocent in this whole thing, he just couldn't fight and paid the price.

Did he probably piss off the guy? More than likely (but I don't know, bc I wasn't there). Does harsh words = punches being thrown? Absolutely not. That's assault.
