We are +3 days and counting since the BCSSECNCG. Alabama is the best team in the country. LSU is the second best. It is time to put away the flames and get back to the business of discussing SEC sports in a manner befitting the Damn Strong Conference we call home. I, for one, am happy for my Bama friends that they won the title this year. If it was not to be for LSU, I'm glad the title stayed in the conference and that Alabama represented so well. I've asked my administrative assistant to keep an eye on things here when I'm not around. We haven't suspended too many people, believe it or not, but that could change if things aren't cleaned up. So congrats to Bama for a great season. I'm very proud of my Tigers for dominating the season as they did, despite the bitter end. It was like a great movie with plot twist you didn't see coming. I'm hopeful the staff and players realize the challenge before them, and that like Bama did in 2008, LSU will bounce back from this setback and take home the title next year.
