UT has some good pieces (only the Lord knows how) but is a long way away from competing. I'm actually rooting for you guys to get back and move USC back to their normal level. It's more fun that way.

If by the bold you mean at least 3-4 years away from competing with Alabama and LSU, I would probably agree. If by that you mean UT is a long way off from competing for the East, I strongly disagree. The best coach in the division is nearing 70. The second best coach spends every other year on the hot seat. The third best coach is at Vanderbilt.

I see what you are saying. However, if you think Boom is done at UF then I will bet against your notion. I might lose but I feel pretty good about it. He's recruiting well and has the defense on the right track. He just needs someone to operate the offense efficiently and keep improving with managing the "process".

From what I can tell, he has his ducks more organized than Dooley now that Weis is gone.

The team is so excited about Weis leaving and so are recruits. I'll tell more later.

ETA: I understand that it is going to take a national championship for anyone to say Boom is a good coach even though that's ridiculous.
