I'm a die hard LSU fan and I'm as upset as anyone else, but come on. These people are ridiculous. All these conspiracy theories, unsubstantiated rumors. It's like I underestimated the rants true capabilities. I feel like I'd rather talk to Bama fans because they're actually being rational

Do y'all think it's just because the sting of the loss is still fresh and it's clouding judgement? Or are they/we really this paranoid?

lots and lots of drugs and a deep seated hatred of losing. Also they probably live through the athletes and think their bullshite will amount to something one day.

Some people are just retarded. Every fan base has them. For the most part, they are isolated so it is good

ETA: You see the same shite on Saints Talk too

I never took a psychology class, but I've always assumed that people who take sports too seriously are overcompensating for the fact that they like banging dudes.

It's easier for them to make up reasons for the loss than to accept the real reasons.

This is my first year on TD and I've read about the meltdowns but never did I think it be like this. Frickin drama queens.

It may be just because there are more LSU fans on here than any other fanbase, but you guys seem to be on a constant emotional rollercoaster. The entire LSU fanbase is incredibly bi-polar. Two weeks ago The Hat was the best coach in the history of the world, and now he's a douche-canoe that needs to be fired. Yeah, you got beat down by Bama, but you still have one of the best coaches out there. Y'all still have 2 NCs in the 2000s. 2 out of 3 in 12 years is pretty flipping good.

Whether LSU is winning or losing, you people are always running off at the mouth.

Take some lithium or something. Jeez.

It just amounts to people who actually let a football team determine their self-worth. They invested too much of themselves into this great season, and when it wasn't finished in the perfect way, they felt some form of personal failure... therefore they are searching for anything that could help explain why the football team failed to bring them the satisfaction that they should be finding in other things.

LSU fans who have football in the proper perspective can take a step back, appreciate a great year, and tip their hat to Bama and acknowledge that it was just their night. My .02
