Where does this more talent come from? We had several sure fire first round picks on this team. I credit our coaching staff for a good game plan and developing talent, but our recruiting classes have been ranked higher and most of our players are projected to go higher in drafts.

dude recruiting class ranks matter but not that much. If so Texas would be in the national title if recruiting ranks were BCS ranks

I've wondered about this. I think the 'talent level' is way too close to call. Just seems to be the popular thing to say.
