Thanks. I'm staying at the place labeled A. Can you recommend some good bars and places to eat that are close? I really want to eat some oysters and crawfish while I am down.

Drago's in the Hilton Riverside for Charbroilded Oysters. Cafe Adelaide in the Lowes hotel across from casino is very good. Coop's down Decatur has, imo the richest most flavorful gumbo in town. Their "seafood pasta" kicks arse and it's more reasonably priced than other restaurants in the area.

Go here for really complete detailed list of restaurants:

Lots of bars nearby in the warehouse district. Ernst Cafe, Lucy's, Rusty Nail ( probably pro Bama crowd), also casino is close.....quarter not too far of a walk either.

There are so many of both it won't matter. Some cool bars are Ernst Cafe, Vic's Kangaroo Bar and Lucy's. Places to eat Rio Mar, La Boca, Cochon, Emeril's, Tommy's... the list goes on.

The best place downtown is probably Remoulade, best place in the city is Casamento's uptown.

Not worth it right now. Small and expensive.
