It would be interesting if OM or MSU got a coaching staff serious about recruiting outside of the state. Not saying they don't try, but their recruiting reminds me a bit of AU under Tubbs. It seemed his philosophy was to try to get your share of in state guys and then take a chance on some academically questionable big time recruits from Georgia or Florida.

I'd say a good half of our roster is from OOS.

Well, we had our guys form GA and UF, but it seemed Tubbs accepted that AU couldn't get many big time prospects, especially if they weren't from AL, parts of Georgia or South Florida. It was like he was only comfortable recruiting in certain places. I may be way off base because I don't intimately know about OM's and MSU's recruiting, but I get that feeling about their recruiting. Maybe I am just trying to hard to relate it to what I know more about.

FWIW-Based on the number of Bundy threads I have seen lately, it appears MSU is having a pretty good run right now in recruiting.
