Nothing I'm gonna say is new but here is my take on the potential Tide/Tiger 2.0

On one hand the two best teams should play for the NC. On the other hand, it doesn't seem right that LSU beat Bama yet Bama gets all of the advantages at this point: they only have to beat LSU once where LSU has to beat them twice to win it all AND Bama doesn't have to bother with that pesky SEC championship.

It's a huge glitch in the matrix that Bama is being rewarded for losing to LSU which is what is happening

Plus, on an intangible note, I know that had Bama beaten LSU Nov. 5th and everything played out exactly has it has since, LSU would not be accommodated with a rematch. I can't prove that but I feel terribly sure of it.

There's rarely anything "new" said around here.

I agree its probably unfair. Oh well. I get why LSU fans are upset about it but blame OSU for losing to a crappy, crappy team.

Everyone hates LSU! Considering you were on the road you would have actually been more likely to get a second shot.

No, had Bama taken care of business there wouldn't be any problems. Had LSU lost, there would have been a rematch because LSU was the visiting team. This was said before the game. Bama losing would not help them with a rematch because they were the home team.

A fixed vote. Before the ESPN altar. First genuflect and then vote Alabama # 2. What a bunch of "Bull".
