You don't seem to understand that there are fewer than 10 players on this team who would make the two deep at any SEC school except for Ole Miss, UK, and Vandy.

I don't think Dooely can win a BCS but he can compete with Richt and Muschap for the SECE in two years. At that point, UT can make the call if they want to move on.

Firing Dooley right now would have the same results as giving SMU the Death Penalty.

So what's the excuse for losing to Kentucky.

Yeah, let's give him 4 seasons to compete for a division title. Sounds like the smart move.

Where do you see Carolina at while Dooley is competing with Richt and Muschamp for the SEC East? In case you have'nt noticed Spurrier is 6-0 against the big 3 in the east and last time I checked he is still recruiting pretty good.Plus most of this years team is coming back next year.
