What does the gap in projected victory margin really say about the teams and their rankings?

Does LSU cover the spread?

It means the oddsmakers believe that with the line at LSU -12.5, half of the nation's money will be put on LSU, and the other half on Arkansas.

Vegas believes that bettors feel about as comfortable with an LSU win over Arky as they did with an Arky win over MSU.
