Things that aren't likely to happen:
1) Arkansas beating LSU
2) Even if they do, LSU falling below #2
ESPN's Brad Edwards and Kirk Herbstriet think differently, but hey they are just only paid by the most influential media outlet in all of sports to predict these things for a living. I'm sure they have much less insight on the workings of the BCS system than you.

They are paid to talk. If things are self-evident, what can they talk about? They can hang their hat on "possible".
Notice my key words "aren't likely". That means it is still possible, but not likely.
LSU would be no lower than 2 in the computers and possibly still 1 (but not a rating of 1.000 like now).
Arky's computer rating sucks for a team that is #3 overall. As a result, they would have to trounce us in the polls. While possible, not likely.
... and that's assuming they even win.
It's more likely for Arky to beat LSU than Auburn to beat Alabama, but the both are possible. Neither are particularly likely.

BradEdwards_BCS Brad Edwards After looking at the rating points in the computers today, I think LSU is a huge favorite to win the 3-way tie.
BradEdwards_BCS Brad Edwards ARK would probably have to beat LSU by double digits to gain enough poll separation to overcome the computer deficit.

No, they don't.

No, they aren't.
They're paid to promote the Disney/ABC/ESPN message, whatever that is at any given time.
And Brad Edwards has been woefully wrong EVERY SINGLE WEEK in his BCS projections. His prediction for the first BCS standings was Oklahoma #1, Alabama #2 and LSU #3. The actual standings were exactly the reverse of that. lsumatt on the Tiger Rant, is about a thousand times more reliable than Brad Edwards or any media talking-head "guru".
