we are a football conference. not basketball conference.
Besides, I will take our baseball any day over basketball anyways.
I keep hearing Alabama hype... they are still going to suck in basketball... it's the sec.

That's the easy answer people love to use, but it's really nothing but an excuse. Not to mention, it doesn't make any sense.
