Well being 2-8 and losing to LA Tech hasn't always been a bad thing for Ole Miss

Apparently in 1946, Ole Miss lost to La. Tech on Homecoming and won two games. In 1947, Ole Miss hired Vaught, went 9-2 and won first SEC Championship. It was the start of our golden era. Is History repeating itself? I really, really hope so.

Have you heard anything else regarding the coaching search?

Nope. Y'all already had him once. We have people with more money than y'all. :dwi:

That must explain why our endowment is almost twice the size of Ole Myth's then I guess...

I would say that we would be more willing to pay a football coach more.

By people, I mean graduates, and by graduates I mean multi-fricking-millionaires out the frame. We want Leach and we can afford him. You can't.

Since your first argument didn't work out...pick another one, right?

Leach wasn't even making over $2,000,000 at Tech. Even Merlins is making around 3mil at State.

We can afford anyone we want. So can Ole Miss. It's just a matter of getting them to come to UK or Ole Miss.

And if Ole Miss was located in Lexington, y'all might actually have reason to act the way you do.

Exactly.... People will be surprised that Leach will more than likely be a steal. From what I've heard from the people that have met with him, he want's back in baaaddd, not a shitty program like UK bad, but still bad.

Other than the whiskey, Kentucky blows dick. I've been all over the state and to the derby etc. Its just like Ohio and they both suck.
