How am I wrong on the cotton #s?

I am not going to argue cotton with you.

Most on here dont realize the bootheel and SE Missouri is pretty much dirty south/Delta and on par with Memphis culture more than the rest of the state.

I have relatives in Hayti so I am very familiar with where you come from but dont expect most folks on here to. Hell, half of them dont consider Ark. as south but they have never driven from Tallulah to Caruthersville. That is some old school south.

Hell, when I was in Mobile I can remember them talking about all the Yankees in Montgomery.

The fact that some of us get offended by the term should tell you something about part of Missouri's culture. Call someone from St. Louis a Yankee and he likely won't care. Those of us who carry the Quantrill banner to Kansas games may take offense.
