What a great game...

There's a difference between bad offenses and great defenses. And what we saw last night were two great defenses.

Unless I'm mistaken, Bama only entered the Redzone once. And they couldn't do it even in OT when they started at the 25.

They were forced to kick very long FGs, well outside the range of their kickers.

Congrats Bama fans - you have a great team. Maybe we'll get to have a rematch in our neck of the woods...

Don't expect Bama fans to acknowledge this simple fact.
The truth is Les Miles would have went for 1/2 of those first downs. And let the chips fall where they may.
But Saban, being wound tighter than Richard Milhouse Nixon, failed his team.
Bama hit a brick wall at around our 30.
And then went all soft by kicking kicks we all KNEW would fail.
THAT was the real difference.
Great game, two BEHEMOTHS slugging it out.
