There's an old philosophy in football....that if you need a big pass play, you want the ball in the hands of your best PASSER. Blame Maze if you want but the decision to run the trick play and put a hobbling punt returner on the field are one Little Nicky.

this this this. that was some houston nutt type shite. WTF are you doing letting your WR pass the ball when you are on the freaking 20 yard line in a 6 6 game with like 4 mintues left.

you were basically 5 yards away from a national championship game. you get 5-6 more yards, and the FG is a chip shot, and he blew his wad


I have figured les miles out. He is the most conservative coach I have ever seen, and it's why he gives saban fits, because he basically says "okay, you are going to do somethings stupid, and i'm not, besides eat grass". miles figures, if we play long enough, you are going to do something dumb and we are going to capitalize. saban played right into his hands with that.
