Dude im not trying to defend shite. Personally i didnt like seeing it on the shirts, but that was the reason given by the coaching staff when asked why in the frick we had an alabama A on the team shirts.
I was kinda pissed about it until we beat yalls arse last year and then I felt a lot better about the shirt.

I personally think this topic is retarded. In my opinion, Auburn has a better argument when it comes to Alabama copying traditions. Five years ago we started doing the Walk of Champions, a tradition Auburn has had for years and years.
I can't imagine how a "Win" bar could be considered a tradition when I'm sure more than a few schools have one. My high school's athletic facility had a "Win" bar that we would tap as we walked out to the football field every Friday night and that bar had been there since at least the 90s. So it's not like Oxford stole it because LSU was good.

I am about as big a college football fan as anyone, but I had never heard of either team's win bar until this thread. Some tradition you've got there.

So our coaching staff put up a "win" bar. Why was that bar produced? To be like LSU? Of course not. Just as that script "A" in the middle of the shirt has not a damn thing to do with LSU wanting to be like Alabama. It's a motivational tool. Do you not see the irony here?

I might be the biggest idiot the world has ever known, but I am not stupid enough to believe that a shirt that says "Take the lead" has anything to do with taking the lead in the 4th quarter of a football game. The goal of every team is to have the lead in the 4th quarter. Don't be silly. The goal there is clearly suggesting that LSU needs to take the lead back in the SEC West/SEC as a whole.
I'll also add that I honestly don't have a single problem with that... until someone starts a thread talking about Alabama wanting to be like LSU because of a mother focking "WIN" bar.
