re: Your School Vs. Your Rival in YOUR lifetime

It's not really fair to say LSU has no rivals. We have a lot of history with Ole Miss and Texas A&M.

The Arkansas games have been really fun the past few years, but I can't really consider them a rival yet. If you walk into a bar in west Houston you have a pretty good chance of meeting a mid-30's rather odd yuppie in a disgusting maroon shirt bitching about a mythical 10 year agreement that LSU supposedly violated. And I still chuckle every time I think of my grandfather in a pool hall in his retirement community in south Florida, telling a Mississippi native that his watch was 2 seconds fast.

I'd like to see us get A&M back to the first game of the year, and keep Arky as the last game of the year. I think that could continue to be an exciting game.
