I don't know if yall have thought about it (LSU/Bama fans), but Ole Miss is facing Kentucky in Lexington, and Auburn has the week off during the two of yalls game. Considering not many Ole Miss fans are going to be driving to Kentucky, the fact that both of us each loathe one of the teams playing, and the fact that we aren't that far of a drive from yall, I'd expect quite a few thousand fans from both schools coming in to be part of the game of the century. Expect Auburn fans rooting for LSU, and Ole Miss fans rooting for Bama. Should add some more insanity to the campus in Tuscaloosa. I really wish I could be there and be a part of this great game.

Why not? Its the best game in decades, and to be able to potentially shove it in your hated enemies face isn't enticing enough, not to mention a shite ton of drinking and tailgating. What else are you going to do with your weekend?

Bama vs. LSU
That's why. I don't see Auburn anywhere in that matchup.

So you can't have fun at a game that Auburn isn't playing at?

That's actually a very interesting idea.
Since the HUGE Bama/LSU battle is now gonna be a night game and the ESPN Gameday crew is also gonna be on Bama's campus, it would actually be great to see a ton of OM & Aubie fans joining in on the fun. And with some creative signs appropriate for the ESPN morning broadcast, you might even get your mug on national TV.
Even if you don't have tickets, you should have a GREAT time all day & will get to be a part of another historic SEC football classic.
Hope both fanbases will really load up & head to T-Town on gameday. But with all of the hyper-excitement & the massive crowd of national media types who will be on hand, be SURE to plan ahead & come EARLY in the day. T-Town will be absolutely PACKED that day & the traffic will be a MESS. When I attend those types of Bama games, I usually get there very early in the day & plan on staying really late.
Should be quite an interesting weekend.

just when I though ole miss couldnt get more pathetic....so Ole Miss fans are so sad they have to drive several hours just for the chance to live vicariously through Bama and maybe get to rub it in LSU fan's faces if we lose?

More like 2 and a half. And no frickface. More for the booze, the good times, and the fact that it will be alot of fun. Yall losing would be just gravy.

I actually will be there. Trying to find a cheap ticket (lol) right now.
ETA: not sure who I will be rooting for, I just like to watch good football.

Don't flatter yourself douchebag. I would be going for a cool atmosphere and a good time since no one will be in oxford, not because I want to see LSU lose.
