My Grandpa and Frank were Co-Captains of the 57-58 Ohio State basketball team together and have always been close friends. Got to meet him at Yankees Spring training when I was younger and remember being shocked how tall he actually was standing next to my GP. RIP Frank

The thread a few years ago about the guy asking if Koi fish were edible after he fed one of his parents Koi fish to his son who then got sick has always stuck with me. He spelled Koi as Coy and one of the replies was "I'm not sure, but those frickers definitely know more than they're letting on" still makes me lol.

Haha definitely fake. She taught in Alabama. Had her for a teacher in middle school and then she moved up to the high school.

Took him to score 3 TDs or more +1100 today. I appreciate him getting it home. He is something serious. Without Olave and Wilson I figured he was going to dominate.

I had 1st pick in 14 team PPR league so a little less options on the turn compared to 10 or 12 teamer.
But I went McCaffrey, Dobbins, McLaurin.

I ordered the stock Epic Max with the Stiff Flex shaft. I asked 2 buddies who are in the golf business and that's the one they told me to order. After seeing most everyone who won saying they ordered the Max LS or Speed and doing some reading I'm wondering if I made a mistake or maybe my buddies think I just suck arse ha.
I kinda have regrets I didn't order the Speed. I know I should have got fitted but with a newborn at home I didn't really have the time to spare and figured a free driver is a free driver. Anyone have personal opinions on the Max?

I just sent them an email and am awaiting a response. Fingers crossed. Never an easy feeling knowing I was having to rely on USPS.
*Update - I received the same email response confirming my submission was sent to Callaway so I guess I am good.

I called and the lady said emails would be sent out on Monday. I did not ask her to confirm if I was in the database in case they were ticked off about everyone calling and for a good laugh delete my name out of the database.

Would be a funny headline if true but it is not. This was my teacher in middle school and high school in Alabama. She did just get sentenced for 18 months for hooking up with students though.

re: Would you wear a jacket to a July evening wedding?
Posted by gump4402 on 6/29/21 at 7:22 pm
Friend of mine had an outdoor wedding in July in Alabama a few years ago.
One guy in the crowd was in a camo Bama hat, jeans, and T shirt. Don't be that guy. Wear a suit and drink extra to offset the alcohol you're constantly sweating out.

I entered this and picked Rahm. Put it in the mail on June 14th. I have been frequently checking my email for something from Callaway. Just hoping they don't try to find a way to screw a bunch of the people who did the mail in entry for the free driver.
We will probably all get left handed drivers.

This. Moved to Florence 6-7 months ago after being in NOLA the last 6 years. Play the RTJ Shoals courses every weekend for $50 with a trail card. Courses are always in great shape and a lot of fun. $50 in NOLA on Saturday gets you the North Course Goat Ranch at City Park. I forgot how much better golf in Alabama is compared to Louisiana.

My wife had been trying to get me to watch Yellowstone for a long time. I finally started it last week. Binged all 3 seasons in 4 days. So yes, you should watch it.
I was starting to get irrationally angry at some of the characters and scenes in Season 3 though. Easily the weakest season in my opinion. Hoping for a better Season 4 next month.

For the Duke game I was at Steinbrenner Field for Yankees vs Red Sox Spring Training game. My Dad had a little handheld antenna TV device that could pick up local stations. He brought that into the stadium and our family was watching it during the baseball game. Loud cheers from the entire family at times when absolutely nothing was happening in the baseball game. We were getting some confused looks from surrounding crowd.
For the Texas game we stopped to stay the night in Tallahassee on the way back home to make sure we were settled into the hotel in time to not miss a second of the game.
I was 13 at the time and those 2 nights are 2 of the most vivid memories I have of all our of our family vacations. We were in Clearwater for the Mitchell buzzer beater too. Was a great vacation and such a fun ride with that team.

There was a Redskins Monday night game a few years ago against the chiefs. I had Redskins +7 and the total under 48.
Chiefs kick a field goal with 4 secs left to go up 23-20. On the kickoff the Redskins throw some laterals and throw one back to nobody at the 10 yard line. Chiefs pick it up and walk it into the end zone for a touchdown. Final 29-20. Lost the spread and the total. Has always stuck with me.
I had Eagles +6.5 last night so guess they all come back in the end.

I have played the Shoals about 20 times the last 3 months. Fighting Joe is in great shape. It is long, 700+ yd par 5 from the tips (don't play them), and if you miss the fairways you are dead and probably losing your ball. As long as you are getting off the tee you can score. Schoolmaster is the other course at the Shoals and is a more traditional course. Tree lined for most part and a little easier. If you can play both I would.
I played Hampton Cove Highlands course back in June and it was in great shape as well. Most RTJ courses usually are. It is a lot more scenic than the shoals courses (minus #18 on Fighting Joe) and has some elevation changes which is fun since Louisiana does not for the most part. I definitely prefer the Highlands course over the River course at Hampton Cove.

No they are just rumors. They were swirling around Monday too and none of it was true. Spoke to a reporter up there on scene and was told it is all rumors about the buses again today and that there is nothing to substantiate them at this time.
