Sitting on the highway southwest of town for 90 minutes surely was. Once we finally got within walking distance of campus, there was a dilapidated mall parking lot that we parked in and hiked to the one open gate on that end of the stadium.

Here's the thing, professor. Most people who are going to a major sporting event in a small town investigate routes to and from the event to have a few options to choose from. Because no matter how fantastic the Po-Po is at directing traffic on gameday, one fender bender can frick up traffic for hours. So, the moral of the story is... "When traveling to a large sporting event, the day OF said event, have at least two (3 is better) separate routes planned in order to arrive at said event. Just. In. Case."

We'll be holding additional "Common sense isn't just for the common man" seminars as the need arises. Keep those eyes open and those brains warm!!!!
