He won a NC the year before and had great stats at the place he played. Malzahn didn't develop him into the talent he was. 
at your rationale. He has however, had Trotter his entire tenure to develop, Moseley for a year and a half. Malzahn, has not, shown he can develop a QB of his own yet.

So any QB that does good in Juco or wins a state title is already developed?
