You know, that #1 overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. The one that's 3rd overall in the NFL right now in passing yards. The one that couldn't hit the broad side of the barn before he got to Auburn. The one that wouldn't run on any SEC defenses.

He won a NC the year before and had great stats at the place he played. Malzahn didn't develop him into the talent he was. 
at your rationale. He has however, had Trotter his entire tenure to develop, Moseley for a year and a half. Malzahn, has not, shown he can develop a QB of his own yet.
