WTF is their to do in College Station?
Probably like Starkville, MS.

Went their for LSU vs A&M game in early 90's. Boring town, honky tonk bar scene, middle of nowhere. Should we call College Station, Starkville West, TX.

Please enlighten for visiting SEC Fan next year?

The tackle box sucks but CS is world's better than Starkville.

What are you looking to do?

As for our bar scene, I wouldn't say it's "honky-tonk" at all outside of a couple places. Most notably the dixie chicken but the rest are normal bars/clubs/irish pubs, whatever you're looking for.

The tailgating has come a long way the past few years, and although it's not on par with you guys yet you will find it to be quite entertaining.

Not sure what else you're looking to do on a game weekend? Go to the movies?

What the hell are you talking about? Come see the campus, goto George Bush Library, goto downtown Bryan, drink beer, check out the college girls, drink more beer, tailgate, watch a football game, and then GTFO.

It aint that hard.

Friday Night, Best Meals?
Any decent Golf? on Friday before.
best breakfast spot on Sunday morning?
In the SEC, it's not just a "day trip" it's where old college friends come together and make a weekend out of it. At least at LSU it's that way

You know, Starkville actually wasn't as terrible as everyone makes it out to be. They have a decent little strip, even if the bars do close way too early. Solid greek life, hung out with guys from our MSU chapter. And the women were much much better than advertised.

I guess I'll have to visit A&M and see for myself.

Baton Rouge has a solid bar scene if you know what you're doing. Don't go to Reggie's and then come back complaining about the bad time you had.

And our tailgating is the best, bar none. That makes up for a lot.
