Already talked about in like 10 other topics. I asked for this to be deleted. It's a fricking shame what happened, and I for one am appalled.

Dilrod, I suggest you take 5 minutes and perform some simple research on the issue.

Also, I think I found the culprits.

We are not idiots for doubting or hoping an, at that point, internet message board story was untrue. LSU has been the victims of such false rumors and hoaxes for years now.

I never once read anyone saying anything disparaging to the victims. Quite the contrary. Many wished them a speedy recovery "IF" the story proved to be true. We were hoping it wasn't for obvious reasons.

Let's not pretend after the fact that we should just accept such stories at face value in the future and question our intelligence if we don't.

You have to admit, this story was very salacious. It had all the ingredients and trappings of a hoax. Unfortunately in the world we live in today, shyt like this does happen. I don't blame anyone for questioning the aspects of the story as originally reported. Some of those questions have been answered because more complete details have since been given. For example: Many were under the impression he was sent to a hospital 75 miles away instead of one that was much closer. That oddity raised legit questions that have now been clarified. He first went to a closer unit THEN was transferred after eval and treatment.
